Model-Netics Basic Course
|
- The foundation program of MEM is Model-Netics (M-N), a comprehensive set of management and
- organization models that serve as a guide to thought and action in decision situations. The M-N Basic Course is comprehensive, with 151 models structured in 20 sessions, totaling approximately 30 hours. M-N covers the topics: Change, Selection, Evaluation, Compensation, Delegation, Motivation, Planning, Management Process, Communication, Learning,
Training, Control, Decision Making, Problem Solving and Leadership.
-
- The M-N models are taught in a way to help individuals retain and leverage what they already know (but can't retrieve when needed) as well as provide them new insights that will be readily available for timely recall.
-
- In short, the program allows managers and other organization members to organize and retrieve their knowledge and experience for appropriate "real time" action. It is quite typical when M-N teaching
standards are followed for participants to have an 80% or higher retention/recognition of the 151 models at the end of the course. And, they can begin using the models immediately.
-
- Experience has shown that M-N training benefits the whole organization when extended to non-managerial personnel. Its design provides for
improved communication through a shared communication base that transcends specialized jargons in "effective
leadership" with an "intelligent followers."
-
- M-N basic course has been taught in more than 500 organizations worldwide to more than 200,000 individuals. To date, Main Event Management has certified over 2,700 instructors to teach
the course within their organizations.
