Part I Speaker
Larry Bradford, CEO, HCA Jacksonville Revenue Service Center,
spoke on behalf of the Part I group at the graduation luncheon.
Larry talked
about how Model-Netics was going to be utilized in his organization.
He said, "Model-Netics, as far as my organization is concerned,
is the most important thing of all. I have less than 15 employees
today. By the end of 2002, I will have 1200. My job is to bring
these 1,200 employees together and provide them with a culture by
setting values that we all live by. How am I going to achieve this?
I plan to use Model-Netics. That' s why I'm here. We are going to
use Model-Netics as a tool to create a culture and value system
that people will want to work in."
Part III Speaker
Cindy Dranttel, Senior Manager, HCA - Supply Chain Services
(2442), spoke on behalf of the Part III group.
Cindy said, " We have a lot of industry and government entities
represented in our group, and we saw that we share common issues
and also had some unique ones. But Model-Netics is an effective
way to address all of them."
Cindy also
said, "When I started teaching Model-Netics, a lot of the managers
that had become complacent or bored with their jobs, really started
to get re-energized because of the fact that with Model-Netics we
were focusing on some of the issues that they found frustrating.
Model-Netics helped provide some stimulation here."
Featured Speaker
James LaVois, Superintendent of the North Central District,
HISD (1919) was the featured speaker at the luncheon.
James spoke to the group about what Model-Netics has meant to him
personally and to his organization, the Houston Independent School
District. He said, "I developed a very strong commitment to
Model-Netics and really became a believer, and with this commitment
came a lot of participation in spreading Model-Netics to educate
our people. With Model-Netics comes tremendous growth and better
communication."
James also
said, "At HISD we have a foundation built and that foundation
is the one that you now have here with Model-Netics. We have a common
language that is the beginning of the enculturation process. With
this I am better able to communicate and we are all able to move
faster on the Northbound Train."
